Verizon Looking Into Cell Phone Integration with your Home Systems

As cell phones get more intertwined with the daily routine, it's not hard to imagine practical applications that could help you save money on energy. The cell connected home is not far off. When we say "connected," we mean the ability to monitor home systems such as air conditioning and heating, cooking and security.  After a weekend vacation in the wintertime, turn on the heat when you are a half hour away from home. In the afternoon, dial in to your home network and close the shades to keep out the sun's heat.
